Stephanie Boville MSc, RD ISAK L1

Stephanie is a passionate dietitian and sport nutritionist who can’t wait to help you eat to perform better. As a former figure skater and current weight lifter, Stephanie knows how important fuelling your body is first hand. Nutrition is needed to give your body the energy to move, perform and recover well. With almost a decade of experience she has worked with the following groups:

Sarnia Sting Hockey, Canadian Armed Forces Volleyball, Brock rowing and wrestling, Laurier hockey, Waterloo cross country as the team dietitian, and worked with Toronto Maple Leafs, Pittsburgh Penguins, Chicago Blackhawks, Canadian World Jrs in regards to hydration planning. In addition she has worked with nationally ranked gymnasts, swimmers and waterpolo athletes.

Stephanie has 7 years of education under her belt including a BASc + MSc degree from the University of Guelph where she specialized in exercise nutrition and metabolism and continues to review literature in relation to sport nutrition. Her research was specifically investigating the hydration practices in female ice hockey players, and also investigated how dehydration + carbohydrates affects temperature regulation, mental and physical fatigue. Other projects included investigating omega 3 supplementations effect on metabolic rate in young men, and nutrition adequacy in youth hockey players. She then completed her dietetic internship at London Health Sciences Centre and is a regulated health professional with the College of Dietitians of Ontario.
